This system, consisting of high-density polyethylene modules with a honeycomb design, is conceived as an environmentally sustainable solution for the construction of car parks, driveways, driveways and parking areas.
This ‘green’ approach not only respects the environment, but also helps mitigate flooding in urban areas by allowing rainwater to infiltrate naturally into the ground, unlike impermeable surfaces such as concrete or asphalt. Furthermore, the integration of grassy areas in urban centres favours the creation of natural habitats for insects and small animals, as well as providing aesthetic and recreational benefits.
With this lawn-saving system, soil consolidation is achieved through a lawn that can be immediately used by vehicles and only requires normal cultivation care. The surface area covered by grass in the Svelto Lawn is approximately 90 per cent, promoting rainwater drainage.
This system guarantees high compressive strength values depending on the type of soil underneath, the substrate and the relative thicknesses. Furthermore, thanks to the HDPE material, the honeycomb modules are resistant to atmospheric agents, temperature variations and the damaging effects of UV rays, while remaining immune to the attack of microorganisms and chemicals present in the soil or used for turf care.
