Windsor Starter Shingles

The first row of shingles fortifies the rest. Installed with Windsor® shingles, Windsor® Starter Shingles are color-blended to match the shingles, feature Scotchgard™ Protector from 3M, and made with NEX® Polymer Modified Asphalt. 

Starter Shingles for Windsor Shingles

A new roof requires more than just shingles. It’s a cohesive, coordinated system of 5 parts: 1) ice & water barrier, 2) underlayment, 3) starter shingles, 4) field (roofing) shingles, and 5) hip & ridge shingles.

Windsor® starter shingles are designed to to fortify the first course of shingles most prone to wind uplift, shingle blow-off, and moisture migration.

Note: If starter shingles are selected for the installation of Windsor® shingles, BOTH Smart Start™ starter shingles and Windsor® starter shingles are required.
