Tandem Shell Seating

Tandem seating is used in any setting where audience members must be seated efficiently, such as auditoriums, meeting rooms, and lecture halls. The optional inline tables make for convenient workstations for lectures and briefings.

This family is designed to deliver finished products with a few easy-to-configure parameters efficiently. To use this family, insert it into your project from the Fetch app. Use the parameters in the Construction category of the properties panel to enter the number of positions, upholstery, and inline-table options. The family will automatically scale and adjust to match the specified options.Use the material parameters under the Materials and Finishes category to adjust the colors and materials of the family to your liking. Construction
- Back and seat made from injection-molded polypropylene
- Back and seat are joined by a hidden steel coil mechanism, allowing the backrest to recline up to 17 degrees
- Optional upholstered seat and back made with attached 1-inch urethane foam
- Seat foam is covered with upholstery using a draw-string process
- Seat support made from 12-gauge steel and finished with a high-quality powder coat
- Base made from cast aluminum alloy and finished with a high-quality powder coat
- Legs and uprights are welded to a connector plate, which is clamped onto the beam with a yoke
- Inline tables are 20-inch by 20-inch solid-core with high-pressure laminate surface and vinyl edge
