FRP SYSTEM is a structural strengthening system that uses carbon fibers, basalt fibers, and galvanized/stainless steel UHTSS strands in the form of pultruded laminates, unidirectional, bidirectional, and quadri-axial fabrics, bars, connectors and anchoring systems, as well as approved adhesives and mortars for the strengthening of reinforced concrete (RC), prestressed concrete (PC), masonry, wood, and steel structures. It is a widely used technique in both the national and international market.
This system is also extensively employed in the conservation and safety upgrading of historic and monumental buildings. FRP SYSTEM, which meets the technical suitability requirements (CVT) issued by the High Council of Public Works (STC), is widely referenced throughout Italy, particularly in areas affected by post-earthquake reconstruction, including L’Aquila, Emilia, and Central Italy.
FRP SYSTEM is also certified and used within the Italian road and motorway network for structures such as bridges, viaducts, and tunnels.
