KE KELIT is a medium-sized family company in Linz on the Danube and has been developing, manufacturing and selling innovative plastic and metal pipe systems for over 70 years. The range includes the application areas of drinking water installation, heating, cooling, industry and district heating.
The company, which was founded as an installation company, is now active worldwide and has manufacturing sites in Austria and Malaysia and is also closely linked to strong strategic partners in the areas of manufacturing and development. 

More than 150 patents and utility models clearly demonstrate our success and our in-house development expertise. KE KELIT is a leader in innovation and quality, particularly when it comes to pioneering connection technologies such as tool-free plug-in connections or induction welding.

The worldwide pioneer
KE KELIT's unprecedented success story began in 1945 when Karl Egger founded the KE installation company for "gas-water heating". Of course, it did not last long: A phase of expansion, development and research began that continues to this day. With over 150 patents and utility models, KE KELIT is now setting standards worldwide with regard to the production of installation and air conditioning systems: the brand names that have been introduced over the years have been registered internationally and have often become synonyms for special, high-quality systems.

KE KELIT has always shaped and shaped the industry with its innovative products. This was already evident in 1968 when Karl Egger II started manufacturing KELIT district heating pipes and was thus one of the pioneers in Europe. In 1983 KE KELIT introduced the world's first foamed insulating hose KELAN and only six years later the company was the first in Europe to switch to CFC-free pipe systems in the district heating sector - for the sake of the environment. Further milestones followed, for example with the first locatable PPR plastic pipe or the revolutionary KELOX PROTEC push fitting, a connection technology that has received a lot of attention in the industry.

Quality comes first
KE KELIT is also always at the forefront when it comes to quality: State-of-the-art plastic processing machines and complex manufacturing processes for the optimal result have proven our manufacturing expertise and the outstanding quality of our products for decades. A quality assurance system certified according to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 has been on our way to the customer since 1994.

Global sales
From Europe to the Middle and Far East to Australia and South America - KE KELIT sells worldwide and in demanding markets with its own sales companies and trading agencies. But not only sales are worldwide: Numerous KE KELIT locations and subsidiaries on several continents show how much the company has grown since its ambitious beginnings - and how impressively it proves its competitiveness. Now exciting developments and exotic markets are accompanying us into a promising future.
