Solar Central Warehouse
Solar, one of Sweden's largest electrical, HVAC and industrial wholesalers, has built a new central warehouse in Kumla that brings the company's Swedish warehouse operations together in a single logistics hub. The facility was designed with a strong focus on automation, a good working environment and room for future expansion. The project placed high demands on cable management and flexible solutions that could be adapted to changing conditions during construction and ahead of operation. “The power poles weren’t originally going to come from MP. But thanks to the configurator, we saw that MP could deliver poles that met our needs, which the competitor in this case couldn’t.” Henrik Hägglund, Project Manager, Granitor. MP Bolagen’s delivery: We have delivered solutions for both power distribution and cable management in the facility. The choice of power poles for offices and workstations in the warehouse was made later in the project, once the need had been clarified during the design phase. Selection of delivered products: - Cable ladders (MP-S and MP-LS): approx. 7,600 m. - Wire mesh trays (Z4 and electro-galvanised): approx. 1,300 m. - Luminaire rails (311S): 700 m. - Power poles for office environments and workstations in the warehouse.
