Blue Glazed Facing Brick
Facing bricks manufactured by extruding a mixture of clays and water. After drying off the water added for the extrusion, the surface of the brick is coated with a metal oxide suspension to give the desired colour. This coat fuses onto the brick during baking to give a thin layer of glaze on the facing surface.
A dip in a silicone compound of the bricks reduces their suction levels below 0.10 gr/cm2 minute.
