HGP anchor channels

Thanks to the efforts of its R&D department, GL Locatelli has recently patented a new high performance fastener for shear

and dynamic loads.

A typical application of this fastener is on glass-aluminum facades and/or lift installations.

With performances higher than those of the traditional hot roll cast in channels, the new HGP fastener is a new solution

for the anchorage of loads in concrete elements.

The new HGP anchor channel, based on the ETA-CE qualified GP anchor channel, is made profiling high quality hot laminates European steel.

Thanks to the use of this type of steel, cold formed sections can be produced without internal micro-cracking.

HGP anchor channels are available in different lengths and with a different number of anchors.

The HGP anchor channel is completed with H anchor bolts threaded M16. (H link)

HGP anchor channel allows an easy installation thanks to the reduced height of the channel. Completed with the anchor bolt and the filling, the HGP channel is ready to be cast in concrete.

After the casting, the filling is removed allowing the exact positioning of the anchor bolt.

With HGP anchor channels, the "T" shaped anchor bolt is no longer necessary.

The traditional threaded bars, M16 bolts class 8.8 and group screws are always used.

Connections made with HGP channels are adjustable, and no on site concrete holes are requested.
