Concrete: Waterbased epoxy protection - MasterSeal 6338

MasterSeal M 338 is a water –based epoxy membrane which tolerates humidity on the substrate and protects concrete structures subjected to medium chemical attack, medium mechanical loads or permanent immersion. MasterSeal M 338 is used in industrial environments to waterproof concrete structures against water with dissolved aggressive chemicals and in water management industry.

Specification

Application of 2 coats with minimum total thickness of 0,2 mm of two-component, water based, epoxy waterproof and protective coating MasterSeal M 338 from Master Builders Solutions (or similar / analogous). Physical properties of the product: Water vapour permeability (EN ISO 7783-1,2): Sd ≤ 7 m (0,2 mm thickness) CO2 permeability (EN 1062 – 6): Sd ≥ 750 m (0,4 mm thickness) Capillary water absorption (EN 1062-3): w ≤ 0,01 kg/m2 h0.5 Adhesion to concrete (EN 1542): ≥ 3,0 N/mm2 Adhesion to concrete after freeze-thaw cycling (EN 13687-1): ≥ 2,5 N/mm2 Abrasion resistance (EN ISO 5470-1): ≤ 900 mg
