GripTec GTB screw connections

BETOMAX® GripTec GTB screw connections provide form-fit flow-press couplings for reinforcing steel under static and dynamic loading. The system enables force-transmitting connections of reinforcing steel and allows the load-bearing capacity of the connected bars to be transferred in tension and/or compression.

With a wide range of connection types, GripTec GTB is suitable for various applications in reinforced concrete and precast construction, as well as for specific connection and joining requirements.

Specification

Mechanical flow-press coupling BETOMAX® GripTec GTB for the force-transmitting connection of reinforcing steel under static and dynamic loading. The connection is designed to transfer the load-bearing capacity of the connected reinforcing steel in tension and/or compression in accordance with German general building authority approval No. Z-1.5-133 and the applicable approvals for the respective connection types.
The connection is made using a metric thread and installed with the specified tightening torque. The system is suitable for B 500 B reinforcing steel and, in accordance with the respective approval, for additional reinforcing steel grades and stainless reinforcing steels.
Suitable for applications in cast-in-place and precast concrete construction as well as for corresponding connection and joining applications.
