April - Chair

‘April’, the name for the fourth month of the year, derives from the latin aperire, meaning ‘to open up’. Opening up, like the trees and the flowers that bloom with spring.

A new beginning. From old to new, a novel perspective and a novel understanding of a typology inherited from the ages. Relying on the ancient woodworking techniques of La Manufacture’s artisans, Neri&Hu’s solid wood chair assumes the spring month’s invigorating energy with a puzzling four-tube leg structure and a refreshing choice of colours.
