Specification
  • The Technical furniture for the Control Room shall be from the Advantis AIR series from GESAB brand or equivalent.

It must be specifically designed for 24/7 critical environments, complying with high ergonomic and durability requirements.

It must allow easy maintenance and cable management avoiding interference in the normal operation of the work position.

The structure must consist of a main central beam supported on technical side panels or cabinets, with the capacity to house connections, equipment, and cabling.

The work surface must be made in CDF (Compact Density Fiberboard).

The operator must have a personal connectivity area on the work surface, with a configurable space for power, data, and other connectors, accessible through a pivoting cover.

For the installation of the monitors, a fixing system for articulated arms shall be included to allows free positioning of the arm.

    TECHNICAL ASPECTS

    BEAM:

The structural Beam shall be manufactured in a single large format extruded 100% aluminum profile with external dimensions 250 x 88mm. The minimum profile thicknesses must be of 3.5mm to guarantee its strength.

Its construction must allow beam lengths up to 2800mm maximum (*3 operators per beam). The beam must integrate bottom access trays to support equipment to be installed. The minimum internal clearance of the empty beam shall be 227mm deep and 85mm high.

    TECHNICAL CABINET:

The cabinets will be manufactured with the same material as the work surface to guarantee design uniformity, CDF (Compact Density Fibreboard) (>1.000 kg/m3) with a thickness of 16,5mm.

To guarantee structural stability, the joint between panels is made with aluminum profiles with a minimum 3.5mm thickness and coated with high resistance micro-textured powder paint finish.

All technical cabinets shall include, by default, a "Panduit" type cable channel measuring not less than 42x60x400mm. They must also include a connection channel with a capacity of up to 6

    standard 45x45mm format connectors.

The pivoting doors, both at the front and at the rear of the technical cabinet shall incorporate hinges with a movement retention system, adjustable in 3 dimensions and with an opening angle of more than 105º, which shall guarantee a smooth and silent closing of the doors.

    SURFACE:

The work surface must be made of 16.5 mm thick Compact Density Fibreboard, beveled and rounded at all contact points to avoid micro-traumas complying with the ISO11016.

    WIRAIL:

All consoles shall integrate a WiRail ExtraFlat ergonomic arm management system that will allow the positioning of the ergonomic arms in any longitudinal position of the console that guarantees no need for milling nor drilling on the work surface.

The rail system shall have a very low profile and shall not protrude more than 13 mm from the work surface. It shall be made of aluminum sections with a minimum thickness of 3 mm to guarantee its strength.

    TECHNICAL SIDE PANEL:

The frame must be made of 100% aluminum. The extruded aluminum alloy 6060/6063 parts must have a minimum thickness of 2.5 mm and must be joined to the corner pieces, which must be of cast aluminum, thus guaranteeing maximum structural rigidity and durability.

The central column must be made of a single large-format 100% aluminum profile with maximum external dimensions of 68.5x260x672mm (WxDxH) and a minimum profile thickness of 3.5mm.

The access must be enclosed by covers that can be opened with no need of special tools and must be of the same material and finish as the profile of the central column.

Access to the technical area must be from the inside face of the structure.

Lateral cable management capacity: Total free space of the technical area 253mm wide x 66mm deep.
