In timber-hybrid modular construction, the structurally relevant framework of the individual room segments is made of steel. This ensures vertical load transfer with fewer columns, thus enabling spacious, open rooms. The flat wall, ceiling, and floor elements, on the other hand, are made of wood, allowing for even easier adaptation of the room layout in the event of future changes in use.
