A revolutionary dispenser for high traffic washrooms

Louise Otto - 2018-03-27

For designers, planning washrooms for large numbers of visitors comes with its own set of challenges. At venues like airports or stadiums, the big crowds can result in overcrowded or dirty washrooms. That’s why the global hygiene brand Tork developed the Tork PeakServe® Continuous® Hand Towel Dispenser, a system specifically tailored to high-traffic areas.

Large crowds pose a particular challenge for public washrooms and their equipment. Cleaning staff often struggle to keep up with refills such as soap and paper, and even accessing the washroom can be difficult during busy hours.

“Facility managers shouldn’t have to choose between the high-capacity of roll towels and the flexible refilling of folded towels – nor should designers! We decided to combine the best of both worlds in a revolutionary hybrid. While some might say that ‘this is just hand drying’, it's actually a ground-breaking innovation that makes a real difference for visitors”, says Karin Ahlenius, Senior Product Manager at Tork.
