Gard Sofa

With its open construction and contemporary profile, few would guess that this contemporary bench has a long history. Based on the iconic Swedish spindle-back bench, Gard transforms a classic shape into a statement-making design. Many of the traditional wooden parts have been replaced by robust metal wires that form the backrest and legs. The wooden seat is crafted from smooth lengths, and so are the wooden parts in the armrests. The bench’s open construction and slated seat enables water to run off quickly. Gard is an all-weather design suited to a wide variety of indoor and outdoor settings.

Maintenance: Steel can be painted with alkyd if necessary. Accoya is almost maintenance-free.
