NPS® CLS beam is a steel-concrete composite structure that bears itself and the ceiling that rests on it. NPS® CLS beam is CE marked EN1090-1 compliant, execution class EXC2, tolerance class 1, preparation grade P1.
The beam is made of structural steel truss in accordance with UNI EN ISO 10025. The footing, made of C32/40 exposure class XC3 or higher class of concrete, is UNI EN 206-1:2006 compliant. It works as support for the ceiling and as formwork for the casting formwork.
Mechanical resistance to fire(R) is up to 240 minutes according to Eurocode 2-2.
Welding uses metal active gas (Process 135 referred to UNI EN ISO 4063).
Completed with connections or steel bars to be placed at the node to guarantee structural continuity. Ductility reinforcement is excluded.

In the 2nd phase UNI EN 1994-1 (Eurocode 4)
For seismic actions UNI EN 1998-1 (Eurocode 8)
