For 70 years, we have been designing and manufacturing solutions for the construction and architecture industries, making life easier for those who build while enhancing the beauty, durability, and value of buildings.

Our story began in 1955, when Ruggero Favero founded I.V.I.C.A. (Industria Veneta Idrofughi Catrami e Affini), a company dedicated to the installation and waterproofing of flat roofs. In 1972, Eterno was established, specializing in waterproofing accessories. In 1980, the merger of the two companies gave rise to Eterno Ivica.

From that moment on, two groundbreaking patents transformed the industry: the thermoplastic rubber roof drain outlet, which revolutionized roof waterproofing systems, and the world’s first self-leveling pedestal for raised flooring. These innovations marked the beginning of our leadership in raised flooring systems, a position that today is complemented by advanced solutions for drainage, waterproofing, and — through the Phonolook range — acoustic comfort.

Seventy years after that milestone in 1955, we continue to uphold the same spirit of partnership with customers and professionals in more than 60 countries worldwide: a commitment to innovation, service excellence, and continuous evolution.
