Model 8740 emergency overhead tank shower is a pre-engineered and self-contained unit designed for indoor and non-extreme outdoor climate installations. ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 and EN 15154 compliant design as a standalone shower at 60 - 100° F (16 - 38° C) ambient temperature. Heating and cooling systems and tank insulation are available as an option for 32 - 120° F (0 - 48° C) ambient temperatures. Incorporating engineered orifices, the specially engineered AXION® MSR Lo-Flow showerhead provides an improved uniform body coverage for superior decontamination. Compact unit height allows for installations in locations with limited space. This base model allows for many enhanced options.

Model 8740, pre-engineered and self-contained emergency overhead tank shower is designed for indoor and non-extreme outdoor climate installations. ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 and EN 15154 compliant design as a standalone shower at 60 - 100° F (16 - 38° C) ambient temperature. ANSI compliant, 20 gpm shower provides a consistent flow throughout the 15 minute drenching by using a Mariotte Siphon, eliminating the reduced flow toward the end of the rinsing process. Modular six piece galvanized frame is Professional Engineer (PE) certified to 2012 International Building Code (IBC), and is easily assembled and disassembled for flexible placement options. The 423 gallon (1600 L) tank allows for more than the required 15 minute shower, and is fitted with an overflow connection to prevent overfilling. Fiberglass high-visibility yellow tank is made with a chemical resistant, water-proof coating and protected with UV inhibitors. Plumbing is 1-1/4" galvanized pipe with bronze valves.
