The Chief FIT™ Fixed Wall Display Mount – Large (RLF3) is the mid-size model in Chief’s current-generation FIT fixed mount line, sitting between the Medium (RMF3) and X-Large (RXF3) models and sized for larger commercial displays. It supports screens from approximately 43 in up to 86 in with a published weight capacity of 200 lb (90.7 kg), and the mount plate has a depth of approximately 25 mm off the wall.
A key structural feature of the RLF3 is that its wall plate spans multiple wall studs rather than anchoring to a single stud pair, which adds stability when supporting the larger, heavier displays this size is intended for. Like the rest of the current FIT line, it provides approximately 19 mm (0.75 in) of post-installation leveling adjustment and VESA compatibility up to 960 x 450 mm, giving it a wider mounting pattern range than the Medium model below it. Magnetic quick-store pull cords keep the display’s lift cords organized and accessible, echoing the same feature used across the FIT line.
The RLF3’s open wall plate design is specifically built to clear in-wall power and data boxes rather than cover them, which matters on larger installations where a separate in-wall storage box — such as a Chief Proximity box — is often installed behind the display alongside the mount. The RLF3 is UL and TUV Listed, reflecting testing to both U.S. and international safety standards.
As the Large size in the current FIT fixed mount family, the RLF3 is typically specified for permanent, non-tilting installations of large-format displays in conference rooms, corporate lobbies, digital signage, and classrooms where a stable, multi-stud mount is needed to safely support a bigger, heavier screen than the Medium model is rated for. It sits between the Medium RMF3 and the X-Large RXF3 in Chief’s current FIT fixed lineup, giving specifiers a mid-point option when a project's screen sizes fall between the two extremes of the family.
