Chief Thinstall™ Wall Display Mount

The Chief Thinstall™ Wall Display Mount is the non-swing-arm member of the Thinstall family, built for installations that call for a near-flush, low-profile mount rather than full-motion reach. It is offered in two sub-lines: a Fixed configuration (LSTU Large, MSTU Medium) that holds the display completely flat and rigid against the wall, and a Tilt configuration (LTTU Large, MTTU Medium) that adds a small amount of downward tilt while keeping the same thin profile.

The Fixed sub-line is the thinner of the two, collapsing to as little as 10 mm off the wall — Chief describes it as less than the width of a penny — and accommodating displays up to about 5 in (127 mm) thick behind the mount plate. The Fixed models support screens from roughly 32 in up to 86 in (813–2184 mm), with the Large (LSTU) model rated for displays of 42–86 in and 125 lb (56.7 kg) and the Medium (MSTU) model rated for 32–65 in at the same 125 lb capacity. The Tilt sub-line sits slightly further from the wall at approximately 19 mm (0.75 in) of depth, accommodates displays up to about 2 in (51 mm) thick, provides roughly 12° of downward tilt, and covers displays from about 26 in up to 63 in with a 100 lb (45.4 kg) capacity depending on model.

Both sub-lines share the same Glide Lock tool-less latching system for attaching and releasing the display, a cable kickstand that props the display slightly away from the wall for cable access, and a bottom pull-out feature for reaching cabling without fully detaching the screen. The open wall plate design leaves clearance around in-wall outlets and low-voltage boxes rather than covering them. Because the ultra-thin profile leaves very little room behind the display for outlets or components, Chief specifically recommends pairing this mount with a Proximity in-wall storage box (PAC525 or PAC526) to house cabling and power separately. The line is UL Listed.

The Thinstall Wall Display Mount is typically specified for retail, hospitality, control room, digital signage, and home theater installations where a display needs to sit as close to flush with the wall as possible, with the Fixed sub-line chosen when no tilt is needed and the Tilt sub-line chosen when a small downward angle is required.
