IVAR CUBODOMO® is a smart thermoregulation system that allows remote control of all the rooms in the house with time slots management. It consists of a Cube with power supply, temperature sensors (with or without internal relay), actuators (to use in radiator systems) and a Wiring Center (to use in radiant systems). The Cube is the intelligence of CUBODOMO® and communicates with all the other elements thanks to a low frequency radio module. Powered by a 5-volt transformer, it connects to the Internet by an integrated Wi-Fi module. This allows CUBO to interface itself with the supported devices via a dedicated app. It is compatible with all main air conditioning systems (both autonomous and centralized), radiator heating, radiant floor, wall or ceiling heating/cooling, air conditioning units such as fan coils.
The temperature sensor, in the version with relay, replaces the main chronothermostat and, by means of appropriate wiring, allows either the boiler to switch on/off or the management of eventual zone valves. Other temperature sensors (without relay) can optionally be added to the system for an even more accurate temperature measurement in the different rooms. In this last case the sensors can be fitted on the wall without any electrical connection.
Wiring Center is equipped with a radio module that receives the control commands from the CUBE (open - close, based on room temperature and temperatures chosen by the user). The control commands are transmitted to the 8 channels (with associated relay) to drive: up to 16 electrothermal heads with automatic return per zone, combined with normally closed valves, a pump and a heat generator. Each zone is completely independent from the others.
The system is modular and has been designed to operate, as well as in home environments, in offices and public buildings thanks to tamper-proof controls. Additional components can thus be implemented at any time in order to adapt the system to the user requirements.
