TempControl® Mineral Wool Batts

Johns Manville Mineral Wool TempControl Batts are designed to deliver thermal control and help delay the spread of fire in wood-stud cavities of exterior walls, basements, and heated crawl spaces. Made of inorganic fibers derived from basalt, a volcanic rock, TempControl batts are non-combustible, fire- and moisture-resistant, and resist rot, mold, mildew, and fungi growth.

TempControl batts deliver R-values up to R-30 and offer excellent sound control alongside thermal performance. The lightweight, semi-rigid batts are easy to handle and install in standard wood framing, providing a high-performance mineral wool option for residential and light-commercial wood-framed assemblies that require enhanced fire and thermal characteristics.
