T.I.P. (2026 design Simon Bågstam) is a practical small stool or table with a few components that can be assembled with just your hands and a wooden mallet. It is a traditional wedge construction that holds the seat/top and legs together, where the wedge itself becomes a detail that gives the stool a unique identity. T.I.P. stands for Tradition. Innovation. Purpose. The stool/table is developed based on how the technical possibilities of a five-axis CNC can challenge traditional craft techniques.
