CRM structural reinforcement Kimitech WALLMESH HD system

Kimitech WALLMESH HD is used for the repair and reinforcement of masonry elements (walls, vaults, arches, etc.) using the CRM reinforced plaster technique.

Kimitech WALLMESH HD is a preformed structural mesh made of composite material consisting of H.R. glass fibres, impregnated with thermosetting resin, used in combination with mortars from Basic, Betonfix and Tectoria ranges to reinforce masonry and concrete structures using the reinforced mortar technique (CRM). The nets are part of the system provided with CE and ETA marking for CRM systems.

Tekniset tiedot

Reinforced plaster on any type of wall, CE marked and ETA certified for CRM systems. The process includes the following application phases: preliminary cleaning and restoration; application of a first layer of roughcast to the wall facing using pure natural hydraulic lime mortar NHL Basic MALTA M15 by Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product with UNI EN 1015-12 compressive strength at 28 days > 15 MPa; flexural tensile strength at 28 days > 4 MPa; installation of Kimitech WALLMESH HD semi-rigid fiberglass mesh by Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product, partially embedding it in the fresh roughcast mortar. At the corners, installation of Kimitech WALLMESH CORNER-HD corner elements by Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product. Drill holes, preferably with rotary tools, and insert four (4) preformed L-shaped fiberglass and resin connectors per square meter with improved adhesion. Kimitech PLUG CRM L-shaped connectors from Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product are used, bonded with Kimitech EPOXY CTR high-performance, fast-hardening epoxy resin from Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product. Wait for the first layer of mortar to set and apply the next layer with a trowel or machine. The products will be prepared and applied strictly following the instructions on the technical data sheets provided by the manufacturer. The supply and installation of all the materials described above and anything else needed for the finished work are included.
