Schlüter-DESIGN-NICHE

Installation in Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD:

1. Cut out by positioning and marking the outer dimensions of the niche and the frame precisely. Only the top layer of the frame has to be cut out. To cut out the niche, cut out the wall completely.

2. Determination of the above measure. Adjustment ranges from 3 mm to 55 mm selectable. Use of the 5 mm distance grid when using the knurled nut according to the illustration. Stepless adjustment of the distance when turning the knurled nut.

3. Apply KERDI-FIX to glue the spacers into the recess and then insert and align the spacers.

4. Apply KERDI-FIX to the spacers to glue the frame, then insert and align the frame.

Note: For clean processing, it is advisable to protect the outer surfaces of the niche with painter's tape.

5. Use KERDI-FIX to completely fill the joint between the niche and the frame.

6. The KERDI sealing sleeve is glued to the frame and the adjacent seal with KERDI-COLL-L. The painter's tape is then removed again. Fresh KERDI-FIX adhesive residues can be removed with spray oil (e.g. WD-40).

Maintenance:

DESIGN-NICHE does not require special maintenance or care. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents for sensitive surfaces. All cleaning agents must be free of hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
