Watts LOCKSMITH™ AMZL‑100 Series Micro Z^® filtration systems are designed for residential and light commercial applications and available with peak service flow rates ranging from 5 to 21 GPM. These systems use high‑performance Micro Z filter media for sediment removal, delivering increased loading capacity and higher service flow rates compared to traditional sand filters. Micro Z media features a unique external surface with increased porosity, allowing the filter bed to hold up to 2.8 times more solids than sand and significantly reducing backwashing frequency and water consumption.

Each system is equipped with the Watts LOCKSMITH™ control valve featuring state‑of‑the‑art electronic programming to optimize backwashing efficiency. Constructed with high‑tech, 100% polymer water‑contact components, the valve is corrosion‑resistant and engineered for reliable performance in demanding environments.
