Color Major Sconce 9"

The Color Major Sconce 9" is a slim vertical wall fixture CNC-machined from aluminum and brass. It projects just 3.3" from a 5" backplate. A single exposed lamp sits on a narrow 9" body, so the piece reads as a clean line of color against the wall. It’s offered in 14 colors with a brass, nickel, or black finish, and each fixture is made to order in Dutton Brown’s Minneapolis studio.

Because it sits so shallow, the 9" fits where deeper sconces would intrude: tight powder rooms, narrow halls, and the gap beside a vanity mirror. It is UL listed for damp locations in the U.S. and Canada and runs on a single E26 socket. It can be ordered with a rotary dimmer on the backplate for bedside or reading use where a wall switch isn’t convenient. In commercial and hospitality projects, it works well for flanking guest bath mirrors, lighting artwork in corridors, and spacing evenly along restaurant banquettes.
