Vespaio Svelto foundation slab

The Vespaio Svelto, made of recycled polypropylene, is a versatile solution for crawl spaces, cavities and ventilated floors, suitable for all types of construction, whether new or under renovation.

Characterised by a square design (56×56 – 58×58 cm), it offers a modular interlocking system for easy installation on a concrete foundation.

After the electrowelded mesh has been laid and the concrete has been poured, the Vespaio Svelto forms pillars that guarantee the strength of the floor, evenly distributing the loads over the entire surface. If necessary, it can be shaped and completed with the FERMOPLAST accessory, ensuring effective closure and avoiding waste during concrete pouring.

Thanks to its structure, the Vespaio Svelto creates an air chamber under the ground floor, allowing perfect ventilation and improving room comfort. In addition, it acts as a barrier against rising damp from the ground and prevents the accumulation of radon gas, ensuring a waterproof and safe floor.

Its hollow shape allows the easy passage of underground technological installations and networks in all directions, facilitating inspections and possible modifications over time. Adaptable also in seismic areas, by connecting the electro-welded mesh to perimeter beams, it offers greater resistance and stability to the entire structure.
