NTech External Glass Railing System

External Glass Railing System (Juliet Balcony)

Glass railing is an option for our NTech inward opening windows and doors.

Regulations requirements on UK and IE market;
All heights require a minimum barrier height of 1100mm from finished floor level and up to the top of the barrier.
Glazed Juliet balconies cannot be used above 18mts in England & 11mtrs in Scotland.
BBA has tested the solution according to BS EN 12600:2002 and BS 6180:2011.

Glass railing are available on the following NorDan products:
- All inward opening NTech windows and doors (except: Bottom hung inward opening window).
- With or without alum. cladding
- 92mm & 105mm frames, including passive.

Limit value
- Glass railing can be fitted outside opening sashes: Frame to frame, frame to mullion and mullion to mullion.
- Max. and min. sizes. The height can vary from 509mm to 1309mm. The width can vary from 228mm to 2200mm.
- The weight of the glass railing is included in the total weight on the product (window/door)
