The Xella Group offers sustainable and innovative building materials, insulation materials, and services in relation to the building envelope. We make building materials out of AAC and calcium silicate and insulation out of mineral wool and extruded polystyrene (XPS). Our separate Building Materials and Insulation business units have their own production operations in each of them. Our diverse customers – from private clients to government ones as well as building-material retailers, hardware stores, architects, planners, and construction contractors – stand for diverse construction projects. Our customized solutions ensure that these projects are made a reality.

Our building materials are primarily made up of natural resources and are almost fully recyclable. Our insulation materials already contain a high proportion of recycled materials. The Xella Group has a robust and stable supply chain with a strong local character. Most of our production sites are located relatively close to our customers, enabling short-distance, environmentally friendly, and low-cost delivery. This also means we support the local economy.
