The Fuseal 25/50™ PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) piping system is suitable for drain, waste and vent applications that are exposed to harsh thermal (hot), chemical environments where flame and smoke considerations are necessary and a UL723/ASTM E84 Listing is required. The Fuseal 25/50™ PVDF piping system eliminates many of the difficulties previously associated with piping systems within return-air plenums for corrosive waste drain, waste vent (DWV) piping systems. The PVDF compound provides a wide spectrum of chemical resistance, thermal stability, a flame-spread rating below 25 and a smoke-generation rating below 50 when tested in accordance to the UL723/ASTM E84 Test Method.
