Johns Manville Formaldehyde-Free Foil-Faced Fiberglass batt thermal and acoustical insulation provides R-values up to R-30 in precut batts sized for standard wall cavities and in rolls for custom installations. The reflective foil facing serves as a Class I vapor retarder and adds radiant performance, making it well suited to crawl spaces, basement walls, masonry walls, and other locations where stringent vapor control is required.
The fiberglass core is made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with a bio-based binder. It is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, formaldehyde-free, and SCS-recycled-content certified. Inorganic by nature, the insulation will not rot, mildew, or deteriorate; is non-corrosive to metal framing; and provides acoustical control by reducing sound transmission through exterior and interior assemblies.
