    Kimisteel INOX 800 is used for reinforcing masony and RC structures, construction of reinforced masonry perimetral beams, construction of reinforced masonry structures. Kimisteel INOX 800 is a unidirectional reinforcing fabric made out of micro stainless steel strands, very resistant against corrosion and very useful in case of support affected by rising damp issues and in general exposed to aggressive environments. The product, combined with inorganic matrix, can be used in consolidation works of existing masonry and RC structures.
    Specificatie
    • Structural reinforcement or seismic retrofitting of masonry structures, equipped with CVT for FRCM systems. The process includes the following application phases: cleaning the substrate and, if necessary, reconstruction or smoothing the surface with a suitable mortar. Apply a first layer of Basic MALTA M15/F mortar from Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product. The maximum thickness per coat is 5 mm. The mortar must have the following characteristics: maximum aggregate size UNI EN 1015-1: 1.2 mm; apparent density of fresh mortar UNI EN 1015-6: 1900 kg/m3; compressive strength after 28 days UNI EN 1015-12: >15 N/mm²; flexural strength at 28 days >4 MPa and will be CE marked as R2 mortar based on UNI EN 1504-3 and as class M15 masonry mortar according to EN 998-2 and as GP CS IV internal and external mortar according to UNI EN 998-1. While the product is still fresh, apply Kimisteel INOX 800 stainless steel fabric from Kimia S.p.A. or a similar product, applying light pressure with the spatula and/or trowel to embed the fabric in the matrix. The stainless steel mesh must guarantee the following characteristics: weight: 800 g/m2; steel used: AISI 316 stainless steel; theoretical steel thickness: 0.1 mm; unit resistance per unit length of the flexible steel wire mesh: 123.8 kN/m. Apply a further coat of the same matrix to the mesh using a metal spatula and/or trowel, for a total reinforcement system thickness of 10 mm. The reinforcement system has a CVT, pursuant to point 11.1, case C, of ​​the NTC 2018, according to the qualification procedures for reinforcement systems in point 3 of the "Guideline for the identification, qualification and acceptance control of inorganic matrix fiber-reinforced composites (FRCM) to be used for the structural consolidation of existing buildings". The supply and installation of all the materials described above and anything else necessary for the finished work is included.
