    Argelith Hexalith® Hexagonal Tile

    Our Hexalith® hexagonal tile: 10.8 x 12.5 cm

The Hexalith® tile from Argelith has been developed specifically for heavily used wet areas. Its technical properties and robust construction make it extremely resistant to mechanical, thermal and chemical loads.

    For the highest demands

    Developed for extreme loads:
    robust, versatile, quick to lay

Its unique hexagonal shape in particular, with an edge dimension of 10.8 x 12.5 cm, offers a decisive advantage during installation. It allows a funnel-shaped arrangement around floor drains and channels without creating lipping or the need to cut tiles. This shape is ideal for forming falls in wet areas, which makes it the perfect choice for these environments.

The Hexalith® also offers clear advantages in dry areas. Its hexagonal shape minimises the impact force of hard plastic wheels, for example, because rolling loads meet the tile edges at an acute angle. This reduces vibration and avoids the familiar rattling noise on tiled floors.

A further technical advantage lies in the size of the tile. Compared with larger formats such as 30 x 30 cm, the smaller hexagonal tiles minimise the risk of voids beneath the tile, which is critical in heavily loaded areas, for example with forklift traffic or machinery in use. The hexagonal format therefore offers not only a long service life but also excellent protection of the floor, particularly in production areas with high hygiene requirements.

The Hexalith® tile is increasingly establishing itself as the standard solution in areas that have to withstand extreme loads while also meeting strict hygiene regulations.

    Spesifikasjon

    • Electrically conductive floor coverings
Optimal safety component for the protection of employees and materials
Electrically conductive floor coverings are becoming increasingly important. Wherever static charges can pose a hazard, an electrically conductive floor build-up is essential. The sharp-edged Hexalith® hexagonal tile can be grouted flush, resulting in a completely closed surface system. Deposits or contamination therefore cannot settle on the covering. With sharp-edged Argelith porcelain stoneware tiles, combined with a suitable substructure and a conductive grout, the demanding requirements of employers' liability insurance associations, legislation and standards can be met. The floor system incorporates system components from ceramic acid-resistant construction. Together with qualified installation partners we support you with the individual design details.
