COMAX® P Reinforcement Continuity System

The COMAX® P Reinforcement Continuity System is designed to provide a force-transmitting and structurally engineered connection between reinforced concrete components cast in separate concreting stages. The prefabricated reinforcement continuity bars are housed in a galvanized, perforated protective box with a zipper cover. The perforated design of the protective box promotes mechanical interlock at the construction joint and ensures reliable load transfer between the concreting stages.

The zipper cover allows the protective box to be opened easily and provides quick access to the reinforcement continuity bars for connection to the subsequent concreting stage.

Spesifikasjon

COMAX® P Reinforcement Continuity System with prefabricated reinforcement continuity bars housed in a galvanized, perforated protective box with zipper cover, for forming reinforcement connections between reinforced concrete components cast in separate concreting stages.
Design in accordance with General Building Approval / General Type Approval No. Z-21.8-2056. Roughness coefficient c in accordance with the approval: 0.4 longitudinally / 0.5 transversely. The protective box enables a defined formation of the construction joint and protects the reinforcement continuity bars until the subsequent concreting stage. The zipper cover can be removed without additional tools.
Supply and installation in accordance with the manufacturer's installation and application instructions. Various configurations are available with regard to reinforcing steel diameter, element width and stirrup spacing.
