GRF Prime is Eterno Ivica's outdoor grid raised floor system, combining a structural grid with adjustable Pedestal Prime® supports. Unlike single-pedestal laying, the grid creates a continuous, resilient plane on which self-supporting slabs rest freely, allowing any laying pattern: running bond, diagonal, multi-format, synthetic grass carpets or mixed installations.
The system works with both the standard GRF grid and the Grid Plus panel: 50×50 cm, 4 cm high, in polypropylene, with Grid Plus adding a co-molded anti-slip TPE rubber finish on the surface. In either version, the grids join to one another through a patented "dovetail" interlock, with no additional accessories, forming a continuous surface. The male-female connection provides tolerance spaces that absorb thermal expansion, preventing deformation of the laid floor.
The substructure is completed by Pedestal Prime (PR) supports, adjustable from 15 to 420 mm, with heads — self-levelling or fixed — that seat in dedicated slots on the underside of the grid at the corners, centre and along the edges. Quick-connect heads fasten the supports to Grid Plus while keeping the sub-base inspectable. For a more robust substructure, a support is added in the centre and along the four sides.
GRF Prime accommodates finishes in porcelain stoneware, marble, stone, cement slabs and synthetic grass, with dedicated spacers (Mini DM, DLG, stainless steel or PP perimeter spacer) to align the joints. Minimum layout is 4 grids and 4 supports per square metre, with no maximum limit.
