Kraft-Faced Formaldehyde-Free® Fiberglass Insulation

Johns Manville Formaldehyde-Free Kraft-Faced Fiberglass thermal and acoustical insulation provides R-values up to R-49 in precut batts for standard cavities and rolls for custom installs. The asphalt-coated kraft paper facing acts as a Class II vapor retarder, making it ideal for moisture control in exterior walls, vented ceilings, and floors above unconditioned spaces in wood-framed, engineered wood, and steel-frame construction.

Made with long, resilient glass fibers and a bio-based binder, the product is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, will not off-gas formaldehyde, and contains SCS-certified recycled content. It will not rot, mildew, or deteriorate, and reduces sound transmission through walls, ceilings, and floors. Stapling flanges along both edges simplify installation in new construction and retrofit applications.
