The ‘storm’ version built-in grille is manufactured from aluminium profiles AlMgSi 0.5 according to EN 12020-2. It is supplied as standard with stainless steel insect mesh 304 with a mesh size of 2.3 × 2.3 mm, while stainless steel wire mesh 304 with a mesh size of 6 × 6 mm is available on request. The finish can be supplied in natural or bronze anodised (20 microns) or powder-coated in any RAL, Sikkens, NCS or Interpon colour with a coating thickness between 60 and 80 microns.

It is supplied as standard with stainless steel insect mesh 304 with a mesh size of 2.3 × 2.3 mm, while stainless steel wire mesh 304 with a mesh size of 6 × 6 mm is available on request. The finish can be supplied in natural or bronze anodised (20 microns) or powder-coated in any RAL, Sikkens, NCS or Interpon colour with a coating thickness between 60 and 80 microns. Dimensions The blade pitch is 33 mm, the built-in depth is 29 mm and the frame flange measures 21 mm. The minimum production dimensions are 100 × 100 mm. Fixing The grille is supplied with wall anchors no. 418. On request, the frame flange can be provided with screw holes in a standard pattern for visible front-side mounting. Options Available options include a water channel, removable insect mesh, filter, version without flange, welded blades (RAL-coated versions only) and the ST-494 frame grille. Typical applications This grille is suitable for applications requiring high water resistance at low airflow rates, particularly in windy environments and coastal areas. It is also resistant to drifting snow and ideal for harsh weather conditions.
