ABOUT US

Axis offer a nationwide manufacture, installation and maintenance service for projects of any size involving aluminium structures whether a shop front with manual doors or a complete automatic entrance system.

 Our product portfolio includes health care doors, low level curtain wall systems, car park barriers and steel doors all which can all be complimented with an access control system and architectural ironmongery.

 We undertake full risk assessment surveys to ensure that the proposed installation conforms to all safety recommendations as well as meeting your requirements. Axis recommends that all installations comply with EN16005:2012 (formerly BS7036:1996) with regard to safety. Axis employs ADSA Authorised Technicians (Automatic Door Suppliers' Association) for the specification, supply, installation and maintenance of automatic door operators as per the guidelines of EN16005 (formerly BS7036:1996 - Code of Practice for safety at powered doors for pedestrian use).

 Know-how

Axis has extensive knowledge and experience in the automatic door industry, dealing with a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Our range of automatic door products includes sliding, swing or bi-folding door systems, all tailor-made to suit specific applications.

To help protect your investment and extend the effective working life of the equipment, full maintenance packages are available and, in most cases, we can maintain your existing automatic and manual door systems.

 Automatic doors

An established company Automatic Door solutions Axis Entrance Systems Limited has been formed by the amalgamation of two very successful associated companies, namely Axis (Northampton) Ltd and Automatic Entrance Systems Ltd. Both companies have been trading for a number of years and came together onto the same site as long ago as 2000 with Axis concentrating on service and maintenance and Automatic Entrance Systems concentrating on the supply, installation and maintenance of Stanley automatic door equipment. As sole UK distributor, they also supported the existing installations of Stanley operators with spares and service facilities.

The new, combined company retains the sole distributorship of Stanley automatic door equipment and the simpler corporate structure will facilitate a complete service to customers requiring anything from an extensive new facade to spares and maintenance for an existing installation.

We have an array of accreditations and are always seeking to improve. We ensure that our staff are trained and given opportunities to develop and grow with us. All our technical and engineering staff are certified to EN16005, CSCS Health and Safety where appropriate and receive continual product training.

Innovation

Although primarily an automatic door company, Axis is the proud developer of the Flo-Motion® manual sliding door system, a multi award winning and innovative product designed specifically for BDP Architects and installed at the new Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.
