O separador de sujidade separa as impurezas que circulam nos circuitos fechados das instalações, que são constituídas sobretudo por partículas de areia e lama. Estas partículas são recolhidas numa ampla câmara de decantação, que reduz a frequência de limpeza, e da qual podem ser descarregadas mesmo com a instalação a funcionar. As versões com íman estão indicadas para a separação de impurezas ferrosas. Este dispositivo também remove eficazmente as partículas de impurezas mais pequenas perante perdas de carga muito baixas. Os separadores de sujidade DIRTCAL® flangeados são fornecidos com isolamento em borracha, pré-formado a quente, para garantir o seu perfeito isolamento térmico, quer na utilização com água quente quer refrigerada.
