The Design Envelope Booster systems are exciting products which integrate the added-value of Armstrong Brand variable speed control with traditional MultiStage pump designs, for the smallest footprint. These state-of-the-art units feature fully Stainless Steel construction, including headers, base, panel support and pumps, other than larger pump series casings, no-flow shutdown, soft-fill for initial fill and post-power failure start-up, and power saving reduced pressure setting at low flows
Design Features
Standard Construction Features:
  • 4700 pumps all SST OR SST with CI casing construction
  • Threaded or Grooved stainless stell suction & discharge header with stainless steel piping
  • Spring loaded or silent In-line check valves (one per pump)
  • Brass “Ball-Type” or EPDM lined butterfly pump isolation valves
  • Common suction/discharge pressure gauges
  • SST base and panel support
  • UL Type-12 enclosure VFD integrated with ODP enclosure pump motor
  • Optional flanges headers
  • Optional Epoxy coated system PRV
  • Units are pre-tested and calibrated at factory for specific job-site conditions

  • Low suction shutdown & auto re-start
  • Main disconnect with interlock
  • Fused motor protection
  • Fused control circuit transformer
  • Power “ON” indication
  • “Motor Run” indication
  • H-O-A for each pump
  • No-flow shutdown and automatic alternation
  • Soft Fill Mode
  • Pressure Setback Mode
  • UL or CSA labeled
  • Field adjustable set points, alarms and timers
  • Flash memory storage
  • No-flow pressure optimization
  • Optional BMS/BAS communication via LONWORKS, MODBUS, BACNET (MS/TP) OR BACNET(IP/ENET)
