MasterSeal Roof systems form a fully bonded, seamless waterproofing membrane that avoids welds and seams that are typically the weaker spots in any waterproofing system. MasterSeal Roof systems can be installed on all types of substrates, including old concrete, existing bituminous sheets, sandwich panels, etc. MasterSeal Roof systems allow continuous and seamless application on pitched and on low sloped roofs containing, installations, joints, penetrations, roof vents, chimneys or any other detail. Resolution of detailing with liquid systems simplify the installation operations. Also leaking roofs, can be repaired in many cases without removing the old waterproofing layer. Roof waterproofing with MasterSeal Roof seamless system based on one coat of waterproof membrane MasterSeal M from Master Builders Solutions or similar approved. The system includes a specific primer which will be selected according the substrate and a UV resistant topcoat. The resolution of structural or movement joints with MasterSeal Roof systems will require spraying the membrane on a bond breaker installed on a joint sealant that reinforces the joint tightness. In the same way, the resolution of drains requires spraying the membrane with additional 20 - 30 % of consumption at least 40 cm around the drain perimeter. Lanterns, ventilation chimneys, roofvents, anchoring bases, mechanical fixings, surface mounted installations, etc, can have different configurations, but all of them will be completely treated by a continuous layer of the liquid waterproofing system. Corners and sharp angles on the substrate need to be rounded using PU sealants and the waterproofing system will be extended onto the vertical surface of the element a minimum 15 cm above the finishing level of the roof.
