EI1 120 fire-resistant sectional door with luiquid barrier and windows OPTILOCK LIQUIDLOCK

This fire-rated industrial sectional shutter with an integrated fireresistant vision panel is ideal for applications where fire safety and visual inspection are equally important. The laminated glass is composed of multiple panes and intumescent interlayers that expand under heat. The glazing is EI-classified, providing bidirectional fire protection. It has a total thickness of 54 mm, with light transmission of 75% and light reflection of 7%.

In the event of a fire, the interlayers transform into rigid, opaque fire shields that block flames, limit heat transfer through the glazing, and reduce the temperature rise on the protected side of the glass.

This specific solution is ideal for environments where fire protection and process monitoring must go hand in hand, such as ADR storage areas, battery storage rooms, ATEX zones, cleanrooms, and recycling facilities.

This version is also equipped with a liquid barrier designed to collect firefighting water and hazardous liquids for this specific application. This enables us to seal off an entire site or specific areas, ensuring they are liquid-tight without hindering the daily internal movement of personnel and vehicles.

The barriers are seamlessly integrated into our gates and doors and automatically close when a leak or fire is detected. During firefighting operations, these barriers effectively prevent contaminated firefighting water or hazardous substances from causing damage to the environment, as well as to adjacent areas and buildings.

In compliance with VLAREM II regulations, every classified facility is required to have a firefighting water retention system.
