    The JBL-DSX280D is an active column loudspeaker array designed for sound reinforcement and public address in large or reverberant spaces such as transport hubs, houses of worship, parliaments, lecture halls, theatres, atriums, and museums. It features JBL’s Digital Directivity Synthesis (DDS) Beam Shaping DSP technology, which allows installers to precisely define listener coverage areas with minimal reflections and maximum direct‑to‑reverberant ratio for clear, intelligible sound – even in the most challenging acoustic spaces.

    The Intellivox DSX280D delivers superb speech intelligibility and music reproduction. It provides full-range vertical beam control and broad horizontal dispersion, with consistent frequency response and SPL throughout, for uniform audience coverage. This Intellivox loudspeaker is typically used to deliver sound coverage over distances up to 35 meters, with additional range possible depending on the acoustic conditions of the space.

    For integration flexibility, the Intellivox DSX280D includes Dante® and analog audio inputs alongside IP control connectivity. A built-in DSP provides processing for DDS beam shaping along with volume control, parametric EQ, user presets, and more. Setup, control, status monitoring, and performance optimization are available with the free WinControl and DDA (Digital Directivity Analysis) software tools.

    Intellivox column loudspeaker arrays are ideal for architecturally sensitive environments with a slim, unobtrusive design that requires no mechanical aiming and can be recessed to blend seamlessly into buildings of all ages and styles. The finish for the standard enclosure is white, and custom color options are available to fit the loudspeaker’s surroundings.
