EBS HR 60E1-MS 1:40 Skl

The edilon)(sedra Corkelast® EBS (Embedded Block System) is a rail support system for Heavy Rail and Light Rail slab track applications. It combines a traditional rail fastening system with the embedded block technology.

The EBS classic portfolio features concrete blocks which are elastically fixed by edilon)(sedra Corkelast® in a concrete tray. A tie bar is not required as stability is generated by the strong fixation of the block in Corkelast®. 

The rail support system works as an absorber for mid and high frequency vibrations caused by wheel-rail interaction. This way, noise and vibration radiation are reduced which is particularly important in urban areas.

edilon)(sedra Corkelast® EBS HR 60E1-MS 1:40 Skl is designed for the 60E1 rail (former UIC 60) and qualified as Medium Stiffness (MS), which implies a vertical rail deflection between 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm under nominal wheel load.
