The CFB8 series of floor boxes is the ideal solutions for environments which require recessed activation with cover load ratings exceeding the UL benchmark of 300lbs. The Hubbell CFB8 Ballroom series box is an ideal solution for heavily burdened traffic areas which require an architectural finish. Our 20,000lb (with a 2x safety factor) load rating and 8 gangs of capacity make the CFB8 series ideal for heavy abuse applications such as money carts in casinos, book carts in libraries and automobiles in show rooms.

20,000 lb cover load rating with 2x safety factor (40,000 lbs)

Twelve 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” Concentric Knockouts
Removable device mounting plates for easy installation
Individual or multi-gang pass throughs
Machined aluminum covers
cULus 514A Listed and scrub water approved for carpet, tile and wood floors
Leveling feet provide before pour adjustment
Accepts industry standard wallplates
