GoBoard^® is the ultra-lightweight, waterproof tile backer board from Johns Manville. It’s engineered for durability, yet is up to 80% lighter than cement boards. GoBoard is easy to handle and can be cut right where it’s installed with a basic utility knife, without crumbling or disintegrating. Best of all, it has waterproofing already built-in.

GoBoard composite backer boards provide equivalent performance to ANSI A118.9, and as a waterproof membrane in wet areas, provides equivalent performance to ANSI A118.10 when installed in accordance with Section 4.2.4 of the ICC-ES evaluation report.
