The contemporary extruded aluminum profile of the "TEMPO"03 Series yields high efficiency from an extremely shallow profile - 83 mm [3.3 in] high by 300 mm [11.8 in] wide. Downward optical control is provided by a specular or painted parabolic louver or a continuous perforated anodized aluminum cross blade baffle. Depending upon the application and the desired appearance, this product provides an indirect/direct distribution with high efficiency that satisfies the IES RP-1s stringent recommendations for providing quality illumination for areas which utilize computer monitors (VDT's).
The specular parabolic louvers offer extremely low brightness along and across the bottom of the fixture while the painted parabolic or perforated blade louvers provide a beautiful soft glow to minimize contrast between the bottom of the luminaire and the ceiling above. The distribution characteristics are generally 70% up and 30% down, ideal when higher horizontal footcandles are desired. The wide horizontal uplight component accommodates wider center to center spacing between luminaires and the controlled downlight component offers glare free lighting for a variety of functions.
