ALDUS are timber / composite windows and doors, manufactured in solid timber construction with an aluminum cladding that adds an extra shield against wind and weather, giving you natural timber inside and easy maintenance, year after year. ALDUS are energy efficient windows and doors, which through their design and slim construction reduce energy consumption. ALDUS is also suitable for Passive Haus and low-energy buildings. It can contribute to the heating of you home and help reduce your energy consumption. The Family ”ALDUS triple frame sidehung” consist of 4 types of windows with 4 predefined sizes and associated information about fire escape and values to be used in energy calculation. Sidehung windows are controlled with tracks and slides. Windows over 478 mm wide come with a handle controlled friction brake which allows the window to be fixed in any open position. Windows less than 478 mm wide will not have a friction brake. Sidehung windows can also be used for emergency exits.
