The BD6 backdraft damper is ideally suited to heavy duty applications that demand less than 12 cfm per square foot of leakage at .5" w.g. It features:

A static pressure control option, which enables field adjustment to maintain static pressures ranging up to .25" w.g. for dampers up to 17.3 sq. ft and up to .75" w.g. for dampers up to 6 sq. ft.
Corrosion resistant aluminum construction.
Weather protection provided by blades that overlap the frame

The BD6 backdraft damper is designed for medium to heavy duty commercial HVAC applications. Vertical mount allows horizontal airflow relief in one direction, but prevents reverse airflow in opposite direction. Air pressure differential opens damper, while gravity closes it. The BD6 conforms with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), and ASHRAE 90.1 leakage requirements for non-motorized dampers.
